Floor-mounted rear-loaded pull-out units for wire mesh containers with a load capacity of up to 1200 kg fit under pallet racks and are compatible with almost all types of racking systems, but can also be used as freestanding units. The unit is delivered with 13-4 foot lock included. They are fixed to the floor with bolts through floor rails, which act as guide rails for the upper frame that runs on heavy-duty ball bearings at the rear and robust pallet truck wheels at the front. Being able to pull out the units from the rack allows for safe and easy access to stored goods. A rear-loaded unit is used when pallets are loaded from one side of the racking system, for example from a forklift aisle, and goods are then picked manually from the opposite side on a traffic-free working area. This setup improves workflow, increases safety, and saves time in material handling. Ergonomics and efficiency are always a key part of Smart Storing design, and each model uses the right number and size of high-quality ball bearings to ensure strength, reliability, and smooth operation. An automatic safety latch locks the unit when in its closed position, keeping it stable during loading and preventing it from being unintentionally pushed out from the opposite side. Corner plates keep wire mesh containers with steel feet securely in place, making the solution both safe and flexible.
