A servo motor with encoder gives soft start and stop and a full stroke in about 6 seconds. The steel unit measures 847 x 1260 x 245 mm, mounts to a pallet rack with four screws, and is supplied with a push button box, 5 m cable, and 4-pin male M12 connector. Add a fitting kit for beam or floor mounting.
Description
The Smart Storing e-EPU is an ergonomic electric pull-out unit for pallets, built for production and warehouse teams who need to eliminate the manual force of pulling out heavy loads. This front-loaded model carries a maximum evenly distributed load of 1000 kg, extends 95% (1150 mm) at the press of a button, and removes all manual handling effort from the operator.
The unit is driven by a servo motor with an encoder and controlled by a built-in PLC, giving soft start and stop and a full stroke in about 6 seconds. The unit moves when the push button is pressed, and an LED provides status indication for clear, safe operation. It is powered from a 100-240 V AC supply drawing a maximum of 1 A. It is manufactured from powder-coated steel, available in a RAL 5010 blue or grey frame, and measures 847 x 1260 x 245 mm. This version is supplied without a safety front for integration into a guarded cell or automated line where separate safety measures are in place.
Installation is simple: the e-EPU attaches to a pallet rack with four screws and connects to a power cable, with optional radio control for remote operation. It is supplied with a push button box, a 5 m cable, and a 4-pin male M12 connector for quick electrical connection. Add a fitting kit for beam or floor mounting to complete the installation. It is designed for applications where heavy goods are picked from pallets, often with the help of an overhead crane, and can also be placed in a robot cell and integrated into a fully automatic solution.
